Welcome to Carter Campers
Carter Campers a family run business located in the picturesque Victorian Sea Side town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, where you have the beach and surf on your doorstep and is within a short drive of Whitby and the breathtaking moors. Rachen, Trudi, Millie and not forgetting little Willow all have their parts to play in the business from being the models on our website (thanks girls) to helping dad wash and look after the camper. The camper looks fun and is fun, you will find like we do that people will stop and chat and flash their lights and wave to you as if you were their best of friends.
Touring in a T2 camper is done at a leisurely pace as the vehicles were never designed for speed, yet this is what attracts you to it. Please do take a look at our little yellow camper who we call ‘Sonny’. Our little yellow camper is supplied with mains hook-up, fridge (12v / 240v), a two burner hob, sink, independent 240v heating, cooking equipment (including cutlery and crockery), a bottle of gas, CD player, interior lights and information about great places to stay and things to do. You can hire the van, for use in the UK only, if you are aged between 25 to 70 years old. You will need to have held a full driving licence for over a year before the hire period commences.
